Our commitment to fairness for both foodies and home chefs in Ahmedabad.

We want every order to feel fair. This policy explains when refunds apply and how we process them.
1. Order Cancellation (90-Second Rule)
As a general rule, you can only cancel an order within 90 seconds of placing it on the Platform. This strict window exists because our Home Chefs begin preparations immediately to ensure freshness. Beyond 90 seconds, the order is considered final and non-refundable.
2. Refunds for Non-Acceptance
If a Home Chef does not accept your order within 30 minutes, or if they explicitly decline the order due to ingredient unavailability, you are entitled to a 100% refund. This will be credited to your original payment source or your HomeCuker wallet within 5-7 business days.
3. Quality & Hygiene Complaints
If you receive an incorrect order, or if there are verifiable quality/hygiene issues, please raise a complaint via the App or email support@homecuker.app within 2 hours of delivery. We will investigate the claim with the Home Chef. If verified, a partial or full refund will be issued.
4. Advance Order Cancellations
For 'Party Orders' or 'Advance Orders' placed more than 24 hours in ahead, cancellations made at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time may be eligible for a 90% refund (10% platform fee deducted). Cancellations made within 12 hours of delivery are non-refundable.
5. Refund Timelines
Verified refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days. While HomeCuker initiates the refund immediately, the time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank's internal policies.
6. Platform Discretionary Power
HomeCuker Ahmedabad reserves the right to deny refund requests from users who demonstrate a pattern of repeated cancellations or fraudulent claims. Our decision in such matters, after fair investigation, shall be final.
